Postby Traindriver69 » 03 Jul 2018 10:27

Hi all
When I wind the windows up on my 81 DHC they go up too far is there some way of adjusting them so they stop in the right place.
Many thanks

There should be a little bracket on the inside of the door that stops it going up too far, part no YKC3620 & YKC3621, called a stop bracket. You can adjust it to set maximum height.

Hi all
Adjustment worked brilliant many thanks one other question the top quarter light rubber on Rimmer bros diagram it says there is a self tapping screw holding it in but on mine there's nothing its just pushed in and there is no hole in the quarter light for a screw but there is a hole in the rubber.
Many thanks

i asked for a couple of the self tapping screws from one of the specialist parts suppliers.

I was told not to bother and just glue the rubber into place. Evostik Impact I guess.
