smiths clock hands fix

Hi all
while trying to get my tr7 smiths clock working again I decided to remove the hands and in doing so I cannot put the hour hand back.
It looks like it has to be bent in someway and cant work it out any help would be much appreciated and a pic or two on how to put them back would be wonderful.

Did you get the mechanism working? How?

No when trying to take the back casing ng off one of the screws is just spinning so was trying to go in from the front.
