I'm running a 2.0 Litre, tubular manifold, SS sports exhaust, K&N's with the appropriate Bal needles.
But I also have my middle box removed, so just pipe apart from the backbox

And the back box seems to be a smaller diameter to my one - but sounds great - really racy.

I just like the sound when you go down hill with your foot off the accelerator - kind of a popping sound.

Mine has the standard cast manifold and a standard stainless exhaust and it bangs and pops on the overrun, possibly a result of air leaks due to the exceedingly poor fit and overfuelling.Steve.

Yeah, running a bit rich ?
The car dealership next to where I work, sell high end cars - and the other day the dealer showed me a Porsche 997 (?) where he changed the exhaust sound from normal to very sporty by pushing a dedicated exhaust sound button on the dashboard....

How does that work ? Could I rig something up with old electrical components from our local tip.....Joke

Some high performance cars have exhaust valves to reroute the exhaust for more performance some mid range cars also have this.Steve
