2lt Spark plugs in Sydney

This may sound like a silly question, but I thought it best to check.

I am looking for a set of four spark plugs in Sydney, for my standard 2lt TR7. So I thought let’s get them from a local shop rather than paying p&p from the UK. I know that most of the times they are NGK 7082’s with a Spark Plug Thread Size of 14mm and depth of 19mm. However, I had a look in supercheap and repco but cannot find them. Does anyone know the spark plug numbers for either of these two shops as I wanted to replace my plugs this weekend.

For the slant4 engine you'll need NGK BP5ES

Not wanting to scare you Phil, but check you get genuine NGK plugs.

I bought a set of 8 and within 50 miles they had coked up and were misfiring so badly on the way to the MOT it was impossible to drive safely. I cancelled the MOT. They were a counterfeit set from a local Motor Factors who'd been duped. 2 of them had bad cracks in the porcelain as well.

If you have electronic ignition, try iridium plugs.

I got a set from Repco about 8 years ago, & they are still performing perfectly.

Can you remember the model number for the ones that you brought Hasbeen?

I got a set of these about 5 years ago, every time i service the car i take them out and still look good and just put them back in, i also as said run electronic ignition

Sorry I took so long Phil, been having modem troubles.

My car is UK speck, compression & SUs, with a mild cam & little skim off the head, but not adding much to the compression.

The plugs are NGK;
BPR5EIX 2414, replacing NGK BP4EY

They have done about 50,000 kilometres now, & still perform as new.

I can't say they increased the performance, as I've not had it on a dyno, but they sure help maintain what the car has.
