I've seen a leather dash car (pretty sure not from this supplier but professionally done) and it looked good. I would have been interested in black with red stitching to match theme of the car but it would negate my collector car/cheap insurance status. You buy it in sections and would have to buy all so it would all match. Then you'd have to buy leather for the seats or they would seem out of place. Big bucks.

What I like about putting a black Alcantara on the dash top is that it reminds me of the flocking used on the works cars, but is likely to last for many decades.
I had the chance to feel material and thought it much nicer to touch than ABS.
Sunlight and leather don't mix but this also applies to plastic which is prone to U.V. degradation. Carpet dash top protectors are available where this is likely to be a problem and I seem to recall them being available for the TR7, not in r/h drive format though. supercass
