I bought the ones from an online suite in the US called "Juliano's Hot Rod Parts" or similar. They are slightly larger than the originals, requiring a little fettling with Stanley knife in the door card. They use a festoon globe like the originals. They tilt through 3 positions like the originals, but I think from memory the switch configuration is a little different. These ones come on from the courtesy light switch when in the centre position. Or when the door is closed you can tilt them to the up position or the down position to activate them. The surrounding plastic has clips that hold them securely to the door card. I did have to replace one though when after about 8 years the diode blew on it. They were hideously expensive including post to Australia because I had to use a forwarding company (the website store didn't post to Aus), but I don't remember how much or what the breakdown was between the item and postage. It would be kinda funny (not) if they were actually the Renault ones and I had financed from going to France, to the US, to Australia!
