On the way back down from Bwlch y Groes on the Bala road, a term I would use loosely as a single two way track cut into the mountain side for eleven miles !

Great pictures as always John.

The cars looked like little Tonka toys parked up in front of some of those planes..they were huge. It really was an all round fabulous weekend.

Finally! Some evidence that I was actually there:


I arrived in convoy with my neighbour in his Herald, and although there is a photo of his car in the above sequence, there isn't a clear shot of my red DHC next to it. I didn't take any pictures while I was there, so I'm hoping someone puts up a shot of my car as a reminder of the day.

I remarked to my neighbour that since I bought my TR7 last August, I've only seen one other, and that was at a show in Coventry. Yesterday I counted 18 others parked around mine! I think it'll be a while before I see that many in one place again...

Thanks John,

It's RBC 239 W, red DHC. I was sandwiched between the Herald and the Dolomite, but was only at the air museum.
