Thanks John - just wondering if any of the 'cumbria chapter' has ever thought of attending cumbria steam gathering???

If any of my cumbrian brethren is going to the steam gathering my tr7 v8 will be on show so make yourself known

Don't know where the Seaham marker post is? But that's a bum steer I'm afraid as I'm approximately 40 miles south of Seaham in Teesside.

Lol you mentioned Seaham as somewhere on the edge of an area. Church Mouse is about same distance and you have decent roads over there!

Ah, I see where you're coming from. Chester-le-St is about 45 miles from me. THe Church Mouse pub I know is just south of Chester on the A167 - Causey arch is much further north (ish) near Stanley?

Just had a quick look on the NEKCC site and it turns out that they have changed name to in incorporate classic cars so could be the place you have been looking for. Bad news is that it's a bit further north but maybe worth going to see who is about
