This Month's Triumph World ( April / May 2016)

Postby john 215 » 01 Mar 2016 07:07

Hi,

Picked up the latest edition of Triumph World a week or two back but not had a chance till the weekend and with no rugby on Sunday had a good read, the excellent second part of a article by ' our ' Mr Clancy interviewing Mike Dale, who was high up in the US BL conglomerate when the 7 was launched and onwards.

Andrew's book ( still available through the man himself, if you do not have a copy, why the h3ll not ! ) gets, as I had no doubt it would, a excellent review.

A very nice looking Dolly Sprint from the land down under, this has a very good conversion to a Ecotec V6 from a Commodore and a tuned one at that, plus other mods But almost standard looking, 15" wheels tell you there may be something else going on though 8)

Helpful few pages on SU HS carb overhaul for those in the dark about one the Skinner Union (S.U.) finest.

Plus lots of other Triumph related stuff. Slightly different paper used this edition but just as colourful and if keeps the price down got my vote.

Well done to all that make this mag possible, although starting run out of storage space as got from the first edition upstairs and every one since !

Cheers John

Fortunately the idiot who took the decision to print this issue on blotting paper has seen the error of his ways and Triumph World will be back to being a full colour glossy from the next issue. I hope this cock-up doesn't damage the future survival of the title but I guess we won't know for at least a year.
