I see that nor more entries are being accepted according to the website - guess that means we can look forward to a great turnout assuming the weather is decent.

The number of cars on the run stands at 155 unfortunately the display area at Highcliff Castle will not hold anymore cars so we have had to close the entries. However, for those entered it will be a great display of Triumphs

Hi,

If anything like last year will a great day out. Highcliff Castle is a great finishing point and can understand why numbers have to be restricted, it did get a little ' cosy ' last year

I wish the view at the end of my garden was the same

I have got to drop my eldest back to Uni in Southampton after the run, I think there is a evening show called Classics On The Quay from 6 o'clock, so two car shows in one day ! At least it will be somewhere cheap to park while we get something to eat !

Cheers John

Hi John
The Classics on the Quay is just down the road in Bournemouth and you get a great selection of cars there.

Hi Moe,

Cheers mate, asked Google and she showed me a link to a Face Flannel site thingy that lists it as Shamrock Quay Marina ???? Does look like a good event ? I spied a good looking SD1 in the pictures but no 7's :(

https://www.facebook.com/classiconthequay/

Or is it like us ' Northerners ' do ! have same named event in different locations :? ! We have several Classics On The Greens, miles apart in totally different villages.

Cheers John

The Shamrock Quay Marina event is a different "Classics on the Quay" to that which Moe refers. Exactly as you say John, different event with the same title, just one is in Bournemouth & in Southampton!

Shamrock Quay is down on the Itchen River waterfront - I can't offer an opinion on the event though John as I have never been! Not far from Roy though.
