Gauges need help

Postby tr8 » 15 Jan 2016 04:39

Any idea how the person did these yellow gauges? I asked the seller and they didn't. Big problem is that the gauges are concave. I have printed white faced gauges on vinyl for the TR8 but still having trouble at the edges of the speedo and tach where the material wants to bunch up and pucker or leave a crease. Any ideas are welcome.Image

No idea but I have to admit they do look very nice though.

Try warming vinyl gently with hair dryer and push creases out to edge
Near Penrith and the Lake District :)

I did try the hair dryer but the glue on the vinyl doesn't seem to want to move once stuck. Even tried holding the pucker down witha clothes peg over night.\perhaps I will try wetting the dials before application.

This is the vinyl that I bought.
