Welcome to the club Brian. Hopefully you met Harris Mann last Friday as he spent much of the day with us. He's the club Honorary President. We also enjoyed the company of John Haugland from Norway who came 12th in the 'Works' TR7 on the 1978 RAC Rally. Ted Schumacher was a TR7/8 racer with US Triumph support back in the day and he came over from Ohio and spent all three days with us on the stand.

We also had Gordon Birtwistle (Triumph High Speed Development Engineer) and Brian Culcheth (Works Rally Driver) with us on the Saturday.

I think we can safely say you joined the right club if you're into TR7s and TR8s.

Hia john

Thanks for your kind welcome.

I only met ted and dr Christopher while we were on the stand, plus some more of the club officials.

I am so excited about my tr7 v8 and I'm very fortunate that s&s are only about 20 mins away.

I am very keen to get engaged in the club in the coming months.

Maybe another one.

Every year i do the heskin steam fair, which is usually start of june, and the cumbria steam gathering, which is end of july. Would be possible to have a club stand at either. How many did you get on the lights run
