Rusty Subframe

Postby dursleyman » 04 Aug 2015 14:32

Poking about under my car recently I noticed some rust showing through on the subframe near the anti-roll bar mounting. When I dropped the anti-roll bar off this is how it looked.

This was obviously serious trouble so I decided the subframe had to come off for a proper look and its a jolly good thing I did because one of the bottom arm mountings was also on the way out.

Nice shiny "new" subframe now fitted but when did you last check yours?
