Hi all, I cleaned and rebuilt my spare starter motor over the weekend, it all looks nice now and runs smoothly, but really needs a new set of seals, the part number is 54246878 (lucas and BL), inevitably it is NLA from all the usual sources. Does anyone have a lead to an old school auto electrician who might have a set sitting on a shelf? i think this starter was fairly common so hope that they may still be available somewhere from someone doing refurbs, or are they like me just leaving the seal out!
