On eBay you can get suction cups, 40mm in diameter with a little knob that attaches nicely at each corner of the banner / plate.

Sits nicely on the front panel and doesn't come off.

We are travelling over early Friday morning. we will be with the TSSC on the campsite near the circuit at Camping de l'eau rouge. Myself and John wood are taking a TR7 and TR8 respectively and Gary Law is going in a TR6 so should be good for some photos on-route.
