Hi,

This may well be a completely separate issue but since signing up with this site I have been getting Spam emails and I appear to have been signed up to a site (http://www.ChristianityClub.org). How secure is this forum? Thanks Marc

Thanks for the response - it is the oddest thing for someone to add my email to some Christian discussion site, but then again there are some very odd people out there, never had happen to me before. Glad to hear this site is secure.

The way I got in:
Enter username. Click on forgot password (didn't accept old password). A new temp password will be sent to your registered email. Copy temp password in email. Paste password into password box (eliminates possabilty of typos). You're in. Go into your info section (forget details on that just have to nose around to find it). Change password to new password that you will remember. You have to enter password each time to gain entry unlike the auto sign in on the old site.

The problem for me and the others is that we're not getting the new temporary password sent to us, so we cant do as suggested.
We've all posted our problems on the old forum, sadly without any result.
I've also attempted to make direct enquiries here via the contact link here, but I've not had a reply from there.

Now we all realise that with such massive changes there will be problems, as no one can foresee every possible contingency, but it would be nice to get some acknowledgement of our concerns whilst the problems are being sorted.

I could not get mine to work but registered with a new temporary name and posted, then Chris reset my old account name and sent a temporary password. I don't have to log in each time, it, or MS, remembers and just logs in when I open the site.

Yep we are live.

So too it appears are the scammers. I'm not too sure what we achieved.

I'm not going to say one thing & mean another.

I don't like the new format, don't like the funny font, & hate the orange.

Apart from that, I'll probably get used to it. It takes longer for us old fellers to handle change. Perhaps it's a good thing for me at least that they aren't making any new Triumphs.

Hi Hasbeen,

Sorry about the spam, I have no moderator powers over here so cant do a lot about it, just brings back bad memory's of Ron and myself spending hours deleting that crap ! I emailed Chris to let him know, I see he is away until today and I have every confidence he and his boys will have it sorted ASAP.

All new things take a bit of getting use to I guess and hopefully the attack we have at the moment can be blocked somehow.

Cheers John
