Valve Cover Gaskets

Postby DNK » 20 May 2014 14:16

Anybody who knows the club racing in the US knows Joe Alexander.
He also make a lot of good products for small LBC's
He recently purchased the rights for the Gasket Innovations design and has been producing them for a short time.
Anybody with a TR6 know this is a great gasket.
I had recently sent him an email about making one for our V8's.
As I had not heard I sent another request to him today.
Soon after I had a response.

"<i>Don,

VTR President McGahey sent us a couple valve covers for the TR8. There is a need to develop the molds using these valve covers. We do have the Stag molds.

We really appreciate the encouragement as we are very excited about this new business.

Please let the forum know we have this new set of gaskets on the horizon. In the meantime, we are working overtime to meet the demand for TR6 gaskets. It outstrips demand by a factor of three for any other gasket.

We are also looking forward to the TR7 gasket gaining visibility. It's a great gasket, too.

Hopefully, the TR8 will be available later this summer. It is also useful information that these engines are in the older Rovers as we have molds for a few Rover models, too.

Yep, and it is so much better than the cheapo cork job I've always had on there previously. I expect this one will stay on the rocker cover indefinitely. Fit and forget!
