Not attached bracked

Postby UKPhilTR7 » 12 Feb 2014 04:34

Last night I was looking around my engine bay and box of bit when I noticed the Exhaust Mounting Bracket was not attached. Another little job to do after the head light rubber surrounds are cleaned and put back on.

I think I have to stop looking as I always fins something that needs doing lol

If this is the bracket from the bell housing mine is not attached either. When I changed the tubular manifold last year the new one seemed to sit a lot higher than the old one and the bolt holes in the bracket on the manifold pipe were about 1" too high for the corresponding holes on the bellhousing bracket. It all seems pretty rigid though and the MOT guy never mentioned it.

Yes that is the one. It looks like mine has a new system on it, so I will have to have a look and see if it will reach. That is a nice quick job, but it may mean getting under her again. Something I am not too much a fan of these days.
