So he is the story. The car has been sitting in my garage for 13 months.
Rolled out twice to was.
It came from a storage area were it sat 3 moths with out moving.
To get to there it was driven about 5 miles from where it came off the cross country shipping truck.
Before that it sat in my old garage for at least a year with out moving.

So here is my question.
Is it possible to "flat spot", so to speak, a set of radials while sitting?
I just drove it around the N. end of town about 5-10 miles and it feels like they are square.

Absolutely! <b>This past year after chinging my wheels and tires I noticed a complete resolution of vibration and wobble from the front.</b> 8 years of sitting for 3-4 months at a time had left the old tires with many flat spots. And holy-moly is the cockpit quiter now.
Everything about the suspension had already been replaced and properly set up with little improvement in the wobble.
Car is now stored on jackstands for the winter months.

They may round back out after some more driving, particularly if you drive long enough to get them warmed up. You can also inflate them to the max listed on the sidewall while doing this.

I would try to run them at low pressure, maybe 20psi, on a warm day drive them aggressively, first at highway speeds then some good hard cornering. They may come back pretty well.

Firstly how old are the tyres. If tyres are about 8 years or more, even if never fitted to a wheel, they should be thrown out.

How much is your life worth? Surely more than a set of tyres. Aged tyres are likely to have virtually no grip in the wet, & are likely to fail completely suddenly, & with no warning, except for those flat spots.

I had an aging tyre tear apart on the horse float. It was still "NEW", with less than 1000 miles on it, but about 10 years old. It came apart at 30MPH, about half a mile out from home. It is just not worth it.

If still young enough to be worth using, try my sons technique. He jacks the car up, & puts it on stands. He then pumps the tyres to 50PSI, & leaves the thing sit a few days. It has worked on the 8 previously.

He now puts it on stands with 40PSI in the tyres, when ever he is sent to sea for a month or more. He doesn't bother with his other cars, as the tyres are worn out & replaced before they get to more than 4 years old, so don't get bad flat spots.

I run my tires at 32psi. For winter storage 36psi. I often have mine up on jack stands for one winter project or another. Haven't this year but as soon as I'm done with the windscreen finisher it'll be going up to check out steering linkage and rack greasing until spring roll out. Always good to put it up and/or have high pressure in the tires over winter layup. Marketplace did a show on tires that were blowing out at seven years and found that some odd sized tires were 7 years ols right out of the warehouses. The older the tires the more likely/sooner they will take a set. Like frozen tires at -40 they will eventually get rid of the flat spot but the older the tire the longer it takes.

Tyres do not seem to be what they were. Those on my 7 are pretty old and I keep thinking about changing them but the money disappears before I get round to it, but they still seem to work reasonably. My 9-5 has much bigger 225/45x17 heavy duty tyres. On the way home last Thursday evening I hit a pothole (hard to avoid them really but this was more like a bomb crater) and wrecked the NS front tyre. When they removed it in the tyre depot they said it was not in too good a condition with cracks around the tread. These were expensive Vredestein tyres with about 6mm tread left. He checked the date code and it was 2011 so only a few years old. I replaced it with an Avon!

Don I'm surprised tyres that young would flat spot too badly. I usually find even after a few weeks the there are flat spots, but they disappear in just a few kilometers.

Have you checked how old the tyres actually are?

When hen I bought the S2000 it had a receipt for new front tyres fitted only 10 months before. When I checked the date code on the tyres, they were over 3 years old. They had been over 2 years old when sold to the PO.

I now warn any tyre company I buy tyres from that I won't except any tyres older than 6 months, & don't have this problem.

Pretty sure that the tires are not much older than when I bought them.
They are a popular brand
Wonder if the fact they were down a bit on air while they sat.
When I went to drive it I added about 6 lbs in all 4 each
