TR7 Rally car for sale on Ebay UK

Postby dursleyman » 16 Dec 2013 16:30

Just noticed an interesting TR7 rally car for sale on Ebay. Seller says it has been rallied quite a bit but needs someone to care for it. Fitted with Sprint engine on 45 Webers. 4HA disc braked axle etc
Anyone know the car?

It's such a shame it has been left to the elements. Would take some time and money to compete with that again.

Hi,

You would struggle to source and put a car together ( especially if paying someone else ) for less. Hopefully will be sold to someone who was planning on converting a early car, in doing so saving another early one [^]

Cheers John

Nice to see a 16 valve and not the usual V8.

At least the seller got more or less the asking price he had in mind.
The buyer certainly got a good base for a nice rallye replica [8D]
