Bump stop

When fitting lowered springs to the front struts do you need to reduce the bump stop to suit? I'm using superpro poly bump stops, KYB inserts & 1" lowered springs.

I cut mine in 1/2, when using lowered springs.

There have never been bump stops in any 7/8 when I bought them.

The 7 is lowered a little, & has full height bump stops, which I can't remember ever hitting.

The 8 is lowered about an inch & a half, & used to crash down badly, even with heavy springs & shocks. Fitted about half original TR height urethane stops from a GM product, & it works quite well.
