No doubt ABFM is the deal of the century with car show Sat. Auto Jumble Sunday and four days of Antique car auto racing on a track that used to hold Indy Car (CART) racing with free camping all for $27 registration fee. Just considering something different, might still go to both. Will see how things shake out.

The ABFM is a heck of a deal, but I'm hoping the ATDI will involve a little more touring. And Labor Day weekend is the end of summer here in Alaska, so I think we'll spend it at our cabin this year. I am actually giving some thought to going early in July for the Portland Historic Races as well as the ATDI. The clubs all typically get a lap around Portland International Raceway, which would be great fun even at parade speed. http://www.portlandhistorics.com/spectators/about.html
When I was in high school, the track was a public park when there weren't races. I got stopped for doing 25 mph in my MGA because the cop thought it was a 20 mph zone. He got really pissed when I pointed out the 25 mph sign to him!
