hi has any one fitted elec power steering to a tr7 v8 if so could you tell me what parts are needed and how to fit some people use corsa c is that right thanks jim

Hi,

Its a shame that MGF or MGTF EPAS columns are not suitable as plenty of them out there at reasonable money. The motor points upwards so at a guess would hit the dash assembly. Also has a seperate control unit.If i remember the control units were made by Mitsibushi and the whole system was at the time, for a MGF [:p] , reliable!

There has been a return to EPAS system, a lot of the smaller BMW's i work on use it, the motor is now bolted to the rack.
