Port Renfrew Circle Tour

Postby FI Spyder » 26 Jul 2011 16:56

Last Sunday was the Port Renfrew Circle tour. It goes through logging roads with bridges that are one lane wide. Started at Nanaimo, I and another car joined at Duncan, first stop at Lake Cowichan, second at Harris Creek Spruce Tree, third stop at San Juan River, drove through Port Renfrew and Jordan River, stopped at French Creek Provincial Park for lunch. 19 cars in total as the UK TR4a couple caught up to us at lunch as they were delayed watching the German Grand Prix. (We have PVR's in Canada don't you know). The day was sunny and warm (felt like the first day of summer.)[:p]

We cruised back up the Malahat, took side road through Cowichan Bay where I left them to get groceries before heading home. Turned heads all the way as people weren't expecting 19 British cars in the remote country.
