Hi All
Could someone please help me set up my carbs from scratch
I have tried the search function but to no avail (must be me)
An a b c method with pics showing where jets and adjusting screws are would be very helpfull.
1981 DHC 2.0 Ltr SU Carbs

A contorversial thing setting up the carbs, i tend to go by the rule of thumb that says wind the mixture screws all the way in, then turn outwards 1.5 turns.

Set the rpm's then take her for a run, if she performs fine then yipppeee, if not adjust the carbs another half a turn each, set the rpm's and try again until its right.

I know its not very technical but then again i prefer to do it that way than trust timing lights, carb balancers etc and i have never had a problem.[:)]

John Twist has a video or two on You Tube on the SU carbs. Actually John has a lot of videos on You Tube. Check him out. There is a lot of information on the web to be found.
