Capri Vented Disc Adaptor

Postby emdee » 20 Oct 2010 22:22

Working on the same design as J Clay's excellent "Big Brakes 2" article
http://web.mac.com/jclaythompson/Site/B ... s_2.html#7.

Can anyone give me similar dimensions for Capri 2.8i calipers and
vented discs
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt,
Sorry I don't have a drawing and I haven't worked out how to
post photos on here but the dimensions I have come from a
rimmers kit I have from a few years ago,WARNING will not work with princess calipers without redrilling lug holes see article
"princess 4 pots" 20/10/10.
Disc 245mm dia, 20mm thick, top hat 32mm (measure from back face)
Center hub hole in disc is 72.10mm.

Spacer o/d 123.5mm, I/d 66.57mm( this dim important as it locates
on hub, best to measure your ones)
total thickness 31.85mm this includes a 6mm step or spigot that locates into disc at 72mm dia, the main spacer body (between disc
and hub) is 25.80mm. the spacer is drilled and taped to suit the
hub PCD on one side and the disc PCD on the other (Side with Step)
These spacers were drilled and taped all the way through to the disc for the hub bolts not really necessary.
Hope this may be of help, Im currantly trying to source a
255mm-260 mm disc to avoid moving my calipers in, I will post something on forum when when it is sorted.

Scott
