... this is a very bad combination, the intake must be limited so, to the exhaust being turned by 90 ° ... the turbo should conversely be mounted so that the exhaust goes directly to the rear and to the direction of the inlet ... Sun breathe it (can turbo) and the possibility for an intercooler is given

But as already noted, the steering rack (LHD cars) a problem .. this is truly solve but ... but a lot of effort .. I prefer not to have aTurbo then this bad version

So did you get it rosey? I was home too late, which is just as well as I couldn't have justified it - and would have needed another car to fit it on.

Yes I got it, I am picking it up on Saturday on the way home from where I am on holiday, only a few miles from where I am now - this is good Karma[8D]
I need to do a lot more bodywork on the Grinnal before I get around to fitting this turbo but I didn't want to miss out on something so rare.

I expect you will see the TR7 that the turbo kit came off - would be interested to know what he is doing with that car now. Presumably going back to the standard engine?

Anyway good luck with the installation when the time comes!

Got the turbo today, I will post some detailed pictures soon.

I had a good chat with the gentleman who has worked on the car for his Grandson and he has made some intersting changes, firstly the original engine was knackered and the turbo didn't get put back on the replacement engine, hence the sale of the turbo.

The car has had a viper body kit fitted by the gentleman who is by trade a glass fibre laminator! I was impressed by the condition of the car which was Ziebarted from new and seems to be in pretty good shape for a 1977. it's got a factory Webasto sunroof fitted but you cant have everthing[8D]

It seems that the Grandson has lost interest in the car and Grandad wants his garage back (he renovates Morris Minors) and so the car may be for sale in the near future. If I had room then I might be interested if that occurs, he has promised me some pictures which of course I will post if i receive them.
