Kept a couple of bits of panels as I have a FHC that needs some minor (I hope) localised repairs to floor and inner wings.
I cut it up as the local weighbridge is only a mile away from me, so it would all stack up nicely in my little trailer that way. It's a 40 mile round trip for me to borrow my mates car trailer, so I'd have spent the money I got in scrap on DERV in the Land Rover.
I'm now in the middle of sorting out all the bits I kept (I've already scrapped one car) and trying to be a bit ruthless!
Once I've done that, I've got another one to dismantle - that one has a 2.0ltr Ford Pinto engine in it for some bizarre reason. That'll be getting weighed in too, along with another 3 engines I need to get shot of.
My wife will be well pleased when there's only one scrap TR on the drive. It would be much easier if they were Austin 7's or Bond Bugs...I've not 'broken' than fad to her yet!
