Hi, I'm looking at doing the front suspension mod of modifying a SD1 strut but have a question re the distance between bearing surfaces on the SD1 front spindle. Is this distance the same as a TR7 spindle?
If not can someone with a SD1 spindle lying around throw a ruler against it? I am not trying to fit a TR7 hub to a SD1 spindle, I know this is not possible. What I am investigating is whether a Wilwood aluminium hub for a vehicle with the same bearing sizes as a SD1 can be made to fit.
