Hi All

Just wondered where ya might get a new indicator and light stick assembly. I know that there are 2nds available but was wondering if anyone knows/or aware of new parts, or am i dreamin!
Are there alternative versions around?
Gettin closer to drivin her!
The car is coming along new brake clutch system. Some rust to paint with POR15. I have the gloves ready for it.
There is a little rust but requires no real fixing should get away with just the brush. The only place where the rust has won is the rubber seal on the passengers side where the bonnet seals with the car just near the window. The rust won there which is a shame as that is the only real damage there is that i can see and i have been all over it.

I put an old battery on the car and the lights worked (Need to grease the gear sytem there) so that was a good start, but battery was not so good and the battery poles were smaller than the leads so i could not get a good connection but everything lite up.

Jclay's description of the sterring seal was spot on and it worked a treat, just have to paint the section where the hole is as the area has surface rust from the clutch and brake cylinders.

As always a million questions to ask when i read this group, keep up the great resource that this group is!

Good to hear you are making progress, Sunnie.

Can't help you with suppliers over there in Aus, but some of the specialists in the UK still list these indicator/wiper switches. Try this one:

Not cheap & even worse for you guys with the £/A$ exchange, I guess it depends how much you want a new part.

Sunnie,
Can't help you out for QLD parts but here in VIC I use Pickards of Melbourne (Abbotsford) or Triumph Spares (Fairfield). Postage from VIC would be cheaper than O/S but the parts supply here is not as good.
