Thinking about putting some spots on the car and will need to upgrade the alternator to handle this (battery is about 700Ah so I think we're ok there).
Now I know I can pay nearly £100 for a 23ACR alternator, but there must be other alternators that will fit the TR7.
e.g. ones from a Range Rover V8 look similar, will they fit ?
I've seen the other posts about the GM item that's available but that might be a little tricky to find in the UK.
I did try my local motor factors but they weren't terribly helpful, they just said "we haven't seen one of those for years mate" (though I did get some 10W bulbs for the rear lights ok).
I can't be the only one who has the same problem, what have other people done ?
