very little, but more progress

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

My fan's viscous coupling has started making expensive noises so I am thinking of going the electric fan route instead of replacing the coupling. I have a little 10" pusher fan now but if it is the only means of cooling I reckon I would go with the largest fan that will fit(15"?) with a thermostatic switch w/manual override. Summitt seems to have a great selection and their prices and delivery are usually excellent.

Summit offers free shipping but they tack on about a 10 dollar handleing fee to each order. So, it's best to order all you want/need in one order. Haveing said that, thier prices and service are exellent as is the return service. I ordered an air filter for the TR8 that I thought would fit but didn't. Returning it was no problem.

Which fan kits at Summit are you guys referring to? The last one I bought for another TR7 was only $39 at the local Advance(well it was Discount then). It was cheap enough, and it is hot most of the time here, that I just ran it all the time and left the stock a/c fans intact on the a/c switch so if it got too hot I could flip them on to help. It never go that hot, so I just eventually removed them too.

It's not leaking, it's marking it's territory.
