I have a pair of 1979 DHC's and they both have blue rocker covers. Chevy Engine blue is very close to the original color.

chrome under the bonnet, love the chromed polished look, but love the custom hot rod type cars, my original project car was a morris minor i was prepping for a rover v8 transplant til car got trashed by some toe rags,,,,, my engine bay will no doubt have a good clean up but true words typed earlier, where do you stop? aeroquip steel braided hoses, silicon replacement hoses..... god wife gonna kill me if she knew way my mind working right now......

I've painted mine black with silver "TRIUMPN". Easy and effective. In my photos.
