Practical Classics

Postby Hasbeen » 18 Mar 2015 23:01

I got an Email from them this morning promoting their spring issue, with a drive feature of the Tony Pond 7 Sprint.

I hope I can find one, there are usually only a couple in my local, [25Km away] news agents, & they either go rather quickly, or hang around months.

They are one UK mag that do appreciate our cars, but I candled my subscription years ago when I found I never got round to reading most of them.

The new Spring issue of Practical Classics contains a good 7 page article about SJW 530S our Carmine red TR7 Sprint. Shows my untidy garage as well as some good photos of the car.

I know what you mean. One of the laws of the universe to to go from order to chaos without an inordinate amount of energy expended to maintain stasis. Don't want to go against nature.

My copy arrived today and it is very good publicity for the TR7 and the TR Drivers Club. Front page again taken by a TRDC fixed head - second time in about six months. Wonderful.

Congratulations Mr. Turner.

And the club advert looks bloody good too so well done Mr. Griffiths.

Great stuff and good to see some positive coverage.
I only hope we never reach the point where the best qquality cars are being stolen on a weekly basis as is currently happening with classic Fords.

Near Penrith and the Lake District :)

Nice article with good compliments about our cars. I enjoyed reading it but I notice Chris has the same problems I get with those soft plastic trims round the front indicators. Has anyone found an easy way to make them stay put properly? Glue I guess.
