Making a profit from a personal venture like this is a tall order Chris. Andrew will just have to see how things sell with this one before he'll know if he's onto something that could warrant contributions to other worthwhile causes.
But how we as TR7 and TR8 owners will win out of this will be another Wedgie product worth having and something that will be seen by motoring journalists worldwide. TR7 products have made an impression on the press in recent years which has resulted in increased publicity with the side effect of more people taking up TR7/8 ownership. That in turn means more cars are saved with the upshot of better parts availability for all of us in the future.
I know there are some who don't recognize the impact this sort of thing can have and the benefit to all of us but those people tend to be the ones who want everything for nothing and therefore contribute nothing. There is nothing wrong with that, it's their choice - I just wish they'd think about things a little sometimes.
