Why do I always leave things to the last minute

Postby stevie_a » 15 Feb 2015 13:26

As the title said "Why do I always leave things to the last minute.

Over the last couple of years I have fell out of love with my tr7.

With the mice eating the wires behind the dash.

It was a nice day here in Glasgow and was cleaning out the garden ready for spring.

Opened the garage and just stood there looking at the Triumph

big guilty felling came over me.

That's it I am going to put it on the road this year I thought.

Stopped doing the garden and got into the garage

I need your help to give me the push I need.

Did a lot of catching up to find out where I left off.

All lights working except ignition, oil and choke.

This is what happens with the ignition and oil.

Edit

Sorry video not downloaded to photobucket yet
will do it soon.

They can be frustrating at times, don't sell it, you'll regret it.

I take a lot of motivation to get started on things these days, probably an age thing. Also think nowadays that when I remove/fix something I am going to do some other bigger damage and have to stop driving it. BUT it is always better once you get started, get into the work and fix it. Then start driving it again and you know why you did it. It might be old and my better half might moan about it, but it feels good to me.

Hi,

Mine has been stored in the car port during the winter because of the new girl sitting in the garage, when I see her standing that way it just breaks my heart.
So tomorrow I will get her out of her cage and I will rev the engine so the entire neighbourhood will be awake.

Just give the old girl some TLC and before you know it you will enjoy that great ride again.

Keep up the good spirit, J.

Revving the guts out of it will really fire up the community spirit across the neighbourhood! #128522;
