Rather poor start, I'll watch again (on catch-up) to see the Alex Riley bits as this was the most interesting part of the program.

I can imagine Quentin's response to most of the cars chosen though. It was summed up by his comment about spend 5k on TR7 and it's still only worth 2.5k. He's missing the whole point of classic car ownership. I don't own my 7 to make money, I own it cause I love the car, just wish I had the space and money for some more, especially a FHC.

Wow,

I'm glad I recorded that one - like TG watch on fast forward and pick out the interesting bits.
Alex's part was good and if he meets QW I hope he gives him a bif on the nose!!

Slagging off the presenter and the cars was stupid and shows Wilson off as a complete TW*T.

Ferrari was a very pretty car - but they rust and break down just like any old banger!

Maybe he ( Dracula Wilson ) has changed his view during his 'interview' on AOL as a quote about the TR7 he made.
Still a right hand panel beater.

After 28 years of owning my Wedge and converting it to V8 myself I'm fairly robust to the criticism against it. A lot of that has been from owners of the earlier TR's where ithe TR7/8 was as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.

I've driven my 7V8 abroad where I've been surrounded by kids in town traffic wanting to know what my cool car was. Then been approached by 50+ old gits in the UK who just talk about the unreliability and mention overheating Stags in the same breath. Then 30 something neighbours stop to talk about how they'd like one and can't believe they are so affordable. (Still haven't bought one though)

As per Chris Turner earlier, QW just had himself a couple of Clarkson moments. The Bentley Turbo R HaHa......

Why not a Range Rover? It was introduced in 1970, which makes it 45 years old now and so a reasonable classic (although not the fat modern ones). I would love an original Mk1.
