Great to see the car on television, thought it looked well. Stll shiny with nothing replaced after 37 years, the Ferrari Dino will have been restored twice in that time. Quentin Wilson showed his Clarkson streak, if it doesn't cost £200,000 or do 200 MPH then its rubbish. All publicity is good and Alex is a great ambassador for the car and club.

I have no idea how to use Twitter but we really need to get our comments on the Twitter account they mentioned: @classiccar_tv #TR7

What that means I have no idea, but if you do, rave about the 7!!!

It would be rude to say, 'I told you so'. It would be uncouth and ill mannered to say, 'I told you so'. It would be boring and repetitive to blather on and on about the prejudice the media has displayed towards the TR7 since 1974. Even with a lucid memory and documented direct quotes from the authors of books, magazine articles, and other media outlets, it would be most unladylike to dwell on these slights.

No, I will quietly sit with folded gloved hands with a pleasant countenance, sipping tea midst the lovely decor of the machine shed.

Totally agree with all the comments above about Quentin Willson but then we knew just what to expect from him.

What said it all for me about his viewpoint is what he suggested as a classic to buy now as an investment to go up in value - a Bentley Turbo R. I can just see us all buying one of those.

The Ferrari 250 California was nice with Jodie Kidd driving but I just spent my last £7.5 million so not for me.

Typically when it is on line from a legal source you can't watch it from a different country. If some illegal source carries it, it won't have that restriction. A way around this is to set up a VPN (Virtual Private Network) which masks where you are by substituting the ISP. Canadians do this all the time to access Netfix USA which has more content than Netflix Canada. How do you do that? Can't tell you. It's been many years since I've set up a VPN for a customer and I've forgotten how but it's out there.

It was at Portmeirion in North Wales where they filmed The Prisoner series.

The show is garbage, I watched it but QW and JD were just woeful as presenters. I watched because I have an interest in cars and specifically our cars but the whole format was 20 years out of date and boring. Now the TR7 has been done (enthusiastically by an enthusiastic owner who knows the cars) I don't need to watch it again thankfully.

Couldn't agree more John.

Quentin Wilson is oilier than the garage floor under my '54 Matchless and comes across as a smarmy know-it-all sh car salesman. Jody Kidd is way past her sell by date.

It's a good idea for a show but we seem stuck with the Top Gear has-beens. Pity there isn't somebody in the tv car world like Guy Martin....

Good to see our cars portrayed in a positive light by Alex Riley. The commentary was straight out of every book I hold on Wedges. I'm surprised they didn't split the screen time 50 / 50 between the DHC & DHC. Quoting the guys at S&S, many years ago "2 seater convertibles will always command a greater interest than their hardtop equivalents".

I see the blast from Quentin Wilson as a bit of provocation and banter between the presenters to keep the viewers interest levels up. Nothing more.

I only saw the TR7 part of the program as I just viewed it on catch up.

I disagree. His Co-Presenter looked positively embarrassed.
I, for one, won't bother switching on again. Puerile claptrap.
IMHO, of course!
