Not got one myself and at these prices not likely to.I have How to restore an MGB and how to restore an MG Midget both of which I class as lightweigt and of little practical use, with all the important bodywork areas glossed over and lots of concentration on seats and wiper motors.I would seriously have to see the content before buying one,Steve.P.S at this price you could buy a car to practice on...

Golly, Gee Whiz! Does this mean we should start charging admission to our publication called, 'The Workshop Manual'?

I can tell you this, me buckos, our little tome is like no other in it's breadth and scope, much less it's continual development.

Looks like the books are a better investment than the cars!!

I have that book. While books are all well and good there is no substitution for actually working on the car and getting experience (with the OEM manual of course).

This is the only book that I've seen that is any good (had it many years ago when I had a Beetle). No pictures, just line drawings (it's been updated since I had it) but it could talk you through an engine overhaul, change a clutch etc. even though you never had done these jobs before. What's more it's a good read just like a novel in front of the fire place. How many technical manuals can do that?

I have a copy that I bought 5 years ago. I'm sure I only paid $30-$40. Now they are on Amazon in the US for $200 and up. Wow! I need to hermetically seal it and put it in display to be sold later!
