Hi,

I have just had this forum recommended to me so have joined [:D].

I do not have a TR7 at the moment but I have been looking for a good FHC for some time. What I really want to do are some of the historic trials and would especially like to create a rally replica. The reason for joining now is that my better half has actually agreed to me having another car in the garage - something I never thought I would hear - I even have a TR7 shaped space marked out next to my 99 Lotus Esprit V8 [:)].

Why a TR7. Over the years I have had 2 TR7's, a FHC and DHC and I just loved them and never really got them out of my system - I even painted my DHC in rally colours when it's paint went a bit funny.

Anyway I look forward to finding out how friendly the TR7 fraternity are (very I suspect).

regards,

Marc

Hi,

Thanks for the responses. I look forward to getting back into the Triumph scene.

John - Hopefully owning a TR7 will not be as much of affliction as owning / restoring a Lotus (in fact I am sure it won't be) - although it is rather fast [8D].

Paul - Thanks for the welcome. I live just outside of Exeter running a small farm on the edges of Dartmoor.

Just need a TR7 now
