That web site is notoriously inaccurate so I doubt very much the figures are anywhere near what are really left. Given the figures we had a couple of years ago (2010) if we assume one-third were lost in that time then we would still have 2000 TR7s and TR8s left in Britain with about 700 registered for the road at one period or other during the year.

There would have been many more TR7's there if we were able to drive more than one at a time [8D] I know many who were there on Sunday had other road going 7's left at home.

Good point Paul.

For example Paul didn't bring along the Inca coupe that was used to publicise this event.

On a seperate note. I'd like to inform everyone that the event raised £300 for our chosen charity, Parkinson's UK. So not only have we all had a great time, we are also hopefully helping to find a cure for this dreadful illness.

I sent in a photo I took at Speke and 50 words for one of their regular features "Your Month" on the off chance it might get included and surprisingly it did. Slight poetic licence in the editing but not too far off what I wrote.

If people aren't aware this event won the Best Run/Rally of 2014 at the Classic and Sportscar award dinner at the NEC last Saturday. What a great year for the TRDC and the TR7 itself.
