Have to agree there, had the pleasure in meeting him this year at stoneliegh and the sort of guy you could listen too for hours. Also ordered and fitted a set of his footwell vents, a seamless procedure so also a top bloke in his professional life.

Cheers John

I'll second that Ted is great guy and a delightful character. And a pretty good writer as well. I got to meet Ted at the VTR Nationals in North Carolina last month. My heavily loaded car had sometimes been bottoming out on big bumps, and I discovered my rear bump stops were all but gone. On the last day in North Carolina, I went to Ted's vendor booth to see if by chance he had bump stops. He apologized that he had nothing so mundane, but when I told him we were heading home by way of Cincinnati and Minneapolis, Ted told me to stop by his shop and he would have the bump stops. We chatted for awhile and I helped him load his truck. The next day we headed for Ohio. When we got to Pandora, Ted not only had the parts for me, he shared his expertise and loaned me shop space, a floor jack, stands, and an air wrench. And when I had difficulty with one bump stop, Ted's pal Gary gave me a hand with it.

Ted's shop is in the old Dodge dealership building in Pandora that his grandfather built about a hundred years ago. We got the full tour and history and lots more stories. Eventually we had to tear ourselves away as we did have some miles to cover.
