TR Driver Souvenir Edition magazine

Postby John Clancy » 25 Sep 2014 12:47

People have been asking the TR Drivers Club to produce a souvenir brochure featuring last weekend. What we are planning is to produce a bumper edition of the TR Driver exclusively featuring the weekend. It will be packed with information and photos from what was the biggest TR7/8 event ever staged in the UK - the historic MIRA re-visit with Gordon Birtwistle, the entire Anniversary Run and the mass gathering at Gaydon.

Now we realize not everyone is a member of the club so we'll produce extra copies for non members which can be purchased for a proposed £5 plus post. We are aiming to get a web page and PayPal 'Buy Now' button up shortly and as copies will still be limited, non-members will be urged to get their order in asap.

John.

It was Alan Lane and Angela Lovell who suggested this idea. Both drove their respective yellow TR7 V8s originally built at Speke. Great cars and a great couple whom the TRDC is extremely lucky to have as members. They picked up Tony Lee and then took him home again afterwards which was wonderful and one job I didn't have to worry overly about.

Do you want stories of the drive there and then the day actual, people met etc?
