Window Weather Striping

Anyone know where I can find door exterior weather striping? Is this also called a window sweep?



Is this something specific for a wedge, or is there "universal" window sweep that will fit?

Exterior is easy, all the normal suppliers carry it. Vict British, Moss, LBC, Wedge Shop. Also available from Rimmers.

Interior strip - now there is more of a challenge. [xx(]

I got a pair from the Roadster Factory. They are easy to install, if you have all the clips from your existing pieces. I found I had to do a little razor blade trimming at the front end where it meets with the quarter window.

The interior weather strip is part of the original door cards. The door cards I got from Victoria British has the interior strip as a separate piece and clips to the door cards like the outside one clips to the door. They also had the advantage of having an aluminum backing so the door cards don't warp like the original pressed board ones did.

You can also get the door waist seals (outer weather strips) from them.

The ones form VB are rubbish. The fuzzy stuff is stuck on like tape and comes off very easily. However, I think no matter where you look everyone is carrying the same stuff.

I got mine from robsport at a very reasonable price. I also had to do Tue razor blade trick to get them to fit.
