short stapler

Postby UKPhilTR7 » 14 Apr 2014 06:26

This may be a bit of a strange one, bit I am putting some new vinyl on my door cards and gear leave. I have glued it all over but was looking to staple it in place like they originally did. The trouble is normal staples are too long and will go through the card backing. So I am looking for very short staples that will not do through the card. Has anyone seen any of these as I have looked but been unable to locate any short staples or staples.

Six weeks ago I bought a box of 10000 80 series Bostitch brand staples 4mm long to suit a pneumatic stapler I got from Supersheep Auto years ago. Correct length for auto upholstery work, cost $10.00 from Adelaide tools.
Check your local tool specialists & you might be pleasantly surprised. 80 series are a common size for staple guns.
Whatever state in Oz you're in, you should have access to possibly bigger toy, sorry I meant tool shops than Adelaide.
