FHC roof on Ebay

Postby dursleyman » 09 Apr 2014 12:26

Just noticed a TR7 FHC roof advertised on Ebay, no sunroof hole obviously. Located in Whitehaven, colour is green.

It belongs to Paul Ruddy, he did offer it here on the forum, but obviously had no interest. It seems the market for a solid roof has dried up somewhat.

I can't decide whether to go back to a solid roof on KDU 366N or retain the early dealer fitted sunroof, which is in very good condition.

Not a fan of sunroofs generally, but chopping the roof feels like a lot of unnecessary work, and I've more than enough to do on this car already.

Roy,
Why not keep it as a spare - in case you change your mind although quite a journey up to collect unless you put a roof rack on & go to Tatton Park [:)]

Someone on here claimed to have been offered £600 for their solid roof. Bit of a wind up I feel.

My Problem was the postage to Ireland was going to be around £150 because it was bigger than a pallet. Aw well.
