New Forest Run 2014

Postby TR Tony » 27 Jan 2014 21:29

Sunday 6th April is confirmed. Probably the best event of it's kind in the South.

Entry forms available here http://www.triumphnewforestrun.co.uk/

You lot north of the M4 need to come on down for a great day out. Paul Lewis will show you the way [:D]

I will be there as usual, its a nice drive down from the midlands especially if you take the back roads, a little bit longer but well worth it. I have been on the run a few times now and such a fantastic day out. Might even go down the night before and make a weekend of it. Tony/Roy I might give you a call to meet up.

Paul

Does anyone have any idea how many have entered so far this year and whether it will be a new record?

Have not heard James, but I don't think any of the organisers frequent this forum. There will be at least 6 of us - that's my entry number [:)]

Well it was a dull and damp day although the weather did dry up for a time in the afternoon. Not really a day for top down motoring although a couple of brave souls did try!

Despite this a really good turnout & another impeccably organised & marshalled event, many thanks to all the organisers & volunteers who make it happen.

There will be a lot of cleaning of Triumphs going on when the weather improves - I don't think mine has ever been so muddy [:(]

We had the top down from Wincanton to the start in my Dad's TR6, when we arrived the top quote was " either the restoration is not complete or the roof is broke " needless to say the roof went up.

Excellent event and big thanks to all of the organizers and marshals.

Looking forward to next year, hopefully a bit drier and warmer.
