I'm booked too and also at the hotel. We're still finalizing details but something may be happening on the Saturday too. I'll post here as soon as we know for sure.

Apart from being advertised on this forum there seems to be no way for people to sign up to this event. The TRDC site has a page for it but no link to the booking form, and the TR Register and TSSC sites have no mention of it at all??
I'm sure there are owners out there who don't use this forum that may wish to join the run.

Andy - Comments noted. There is a link on the TRDC site but you may need to refresh/delete your cache. The event is being publicized in the classic car press and the TR-Register and the TSSC have been included in the planning at every stage.
Cars for the actual Run must be booked through the TRDC so we can minister numbers, someone has to do it and as you say, other clubs appear to be showing little interest at the moment. The Canley Wedge Gathering is open to all, no booking required but those arriving in a Wedge will get to park together in a dedicated area. As the date approaches I'm sure the TRDC, and Mr Clancy, will get a lot more aggressive spreading the word. However, for the time being there is a lot of planning going on in the background that will, hopefully, become clear on the day! Hope this answers your questions.

There is deliberately no link to the payment page on the TRDC web site as yet. We're still trying to make sure everything is 100% with the other clubs and to help facilitate that the payment page is currently somewhat anonymous. Things will be modified when we are sure all is okay. The link has been all over the Facebook groups too so I think I've done pretty well getting the word out. If anyone else can help in any way then please volunteer.

There have been two reported problems using the PayPal button but I can't find anything wrong with it. If you have a PayPal account I can't imagine why there would be a problem. If it comes to it perhaps just stick a cheque in the post. Shout if anyone needs the address to send it to.

The TR Drivers Club is the organizing club for this event. The TRDC as the organizer has to take the payments and keep an eye on the bookings and how many places are left etc.

Greg has made such a good job of that payment page whereby all the details are collected in one place and people advised to contact the TRDC editor before hitting the 'Buy Now' button that there is no need I can think of to leave that page hidden. I can't see how either of the other clubs can get upset with us by linking it directly from our main web site. So I've asked Greg to make another change (sorry for the constant messing around Greg) and link it from the anniversary run news item off the home page.

If anyone else can spread the link and information around on the web or by email please do so because we're a bit late getting this all sorted.

[Just noticed that Alan will be wearing platforms - Sorry, not suitable attire on this occasion, black cocktail dress and stilettos only I'm afraid]!

Saw this Event advertised on of all places e-bay - quite a high profile way to target TR7 owners who may not follow twitter ? Face Book etc.
