Shims using MGF Wheels

Postby bonnietiler » 24 Feb 2014 09:05

Would I need to add shims if using MGF wheels?
By using my stick my hand up the wheel arch digitally corrected imperial atomic clock-accurate method, it seems like they are a little narrower in track?
Cheers

I don't either although I had to just wet & dry the mounting on the front wheels so they fitted the hubs (just to remove a few thou).

I had MGF 15" wheels on my old TR7V8 DHC, fitted no problem, no shims or spacers required. I think the offset is different but it didn't cause a problem.
