Couldn't see what really happened to the TR7 but I had to watch to the end because I used to rally one of those Corolla AE86 and it was an excellent car, best rally car I ever had.

yeah I continued to watch simply because I also have a soft spot for old toyotas, but unfortunately the poor little 'rolla had to suffer a little longer than the wedge....(the show is actually 1hr on television)

As for the wedge , the real loser was the driver not being able to handle a pretty simply course, had he been a even slightly more able pilot , the car should have finished much higher.
Guess it's a case of the wrong car in the wrong hands .....

I was thinking that too when I saw it a while back. It's like Mythbusters last night when they were racing two 2013 Camaros to see if the gas powered car could catch the one running on moonshine. I was thinking it proves nothing as you had a couple of dufus drivers with the cars going all over the track. Every body thinks they are Formula 1 quality drivers.
